4. Configuration
The TW-18B is designed as singlemode configuration.It can be used for testing on double wavelength. User can choose combination of 1310 and 1550nm wavelengths to covering all fiber applications from Telenet and WDM to MAN, FTTH and LAN network.It provide a stable light source, as well as the option of adding a visual fault locator. TW-18B OTDR software is both automated and easy to use,Choose from two operating modes according to your specific requirements:
4.1 Auto Mode
Lets you select acquisition parameters automaticlly.Perfect for basic, repetitive OTDR applications or for occasional users.
4.2 Manual Mode
Multiple setup and measurement capablities increased flexibility.It can be chaged the parameters of optical index of refraction and fiber excess coefficient setting to measure the maximum distance.
TW-18B has preeminent 1.6M event dead zone and it is ideal for access and FTTH network testing, let you characterize all events between the transmitter and the central offic’s fiber distribution panel. This configuration is high efficiency and flash locus connection property, the whole proccess is less than 45 seconds.

5. Speciality Report
Make use of configurable report and batch printing, fast and effectively create full speciality report.
5.1 Export as SB Standard Binary
Saving OTDR record and loading OTDR results as SB Standard Binary.
5.2 Optical Fiber Cable Report
Create optical fiber cable report and get particular report:
a. Fiber event- report Display full event-data in compact foramt
b. Fiber zone-report Scrutiny all fiber-in-the-zone
c. Fault report Base on fault feedback of user-threshold
5.3 Batch printing
You can choose three print-mode:standard mode(full-size, multipage OTDR report), compress mode(one page report)and more curves(four、six、or eight curves on one page). In addition , add event statistical report.
5.4 Fast print
Print the OTDR cruve of display and choose stat.
